At the Feria Internacional del Libro 2013 International Book Fair in Guadalajara Mexico, the directors of ACC Arte Scritta met Dan Tartakovski. At their first encounter they discovered that they have a mutual dream to find great craftsman and artisan professionals, and share their aesthetic creations with future generations of the world. As Dan was looking at all the beautiful books at the fair he suddenly came up with the idea of producing the Torah as a book which would also contain creative and inspirational artworks. Once Dan realised that ACC Arte Scritta were a publishing company he knew this was going to be a unique opportunity to create a book with great meaning. This was the point when the 'Torah Project' began.

HOW THE TORAH PROJECT BEGAN

ACC Arte Scritta is a young Italian-Spanish publisher which was formed by Ricardo De La Fuente and Cecilia Braschi who have a love and passion for all things which are manufactured by hand without using impersonal and highly industrial processes, and appreciate the artistry of the traditional craftsman. When Dan Tartakovski told them about what the Torah is and what is The Torah Project, they realized how unique this Hebrew Bible will become and what it can bring to many people.
